Pay for what you use
A per-unit price on four actions, $1 free every month, and a prepaid wallet for the rest. No plans, no tiers.
$1 free, every month
- $1 of usage every month, no card required.
- Resets each UTC month. Does not roll over.
Top up when you want to
- One-time top-ups of $10 / $50 / $200, through Stripe.
- Credit never expires.
- You are never charged without clicking a button.
We stop, we do not bill you
- At zero credit the service stops rather than billing you.
- It resumes when the allowance resets or you top up.
- The dashboard warns from 80% spent.
| Action | Rate |
|---|---|
| Events ingested | $2 per 10,000 |
| Emails sent | $4 per 10,000 |
| Webhooks delivered | $2 per 10,000 |
| Journey runs | $2 per 10,000 |
What would it cost you?
The allowance comes off the total first.
What happens when the credit runs out?
A hard stop, never an overage bill. Service resumes when the allowance resets at the start of the next UTC month, or when you top up. The dashboard warns from 80% spent.
How do top-ups work?
Fixed one-time amounts ($10, $50, $200) through Stripe Checkout, from the billing page. Credit carries over month to month and never expires.
Does the free allowance roll over?
No. The $1 resets each UTC month and an unspent remainder is gone. The wallet balance is the part that carries over.
What counts as billable usage?
Events you sent, settled email sends, delivered webhooks, and completed journey runs. Skipped and dry-run sends never bill, and Cowliss's own system events never meter.
Are features locked behind plans?
No. There are no plans or tiers: every organization gets every feature, and the credit budget is the only limit.
